Quality & Testing Standards
At CALM Peptides, quality is not a marketing claim — it is the foundation of every product we ship. Every research peptide in our catalog is manufactured in the United States, verified through third-party analytical testing, and documented with a Certificate of Analysis (COA) available upon request. We sell exclusively to researchers, and we hold our materials to the standards that reproducible research demands.
Our Quality Commitments
USA Manufactured
All CALM Peptides products are synthesized in FDA-registered facilities in Georgia, USA using solid-phase peptide synthesis (SPPS).
≥99% Purity
Every peptide is purified to ≥99% purity as verified by HPLC analysis. We do not sell crude or low-purity material.
Third-Party Tested
Analytical testing is performed by independent laboratories, not in-house. This eliminates conflicts of interest and ensures objective results.
COA on Request
Certificates of Analysis documenting HPLC purity, mass spectrometry confirmation, and lot-specific data are available upon request for every product.
Same-Day Shipping
Orders placed before the cutoff ship the same business day, minimizing time in transit and preserving product integrity.
How We Test
High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC)
HPLC is the gold standard for peptide purity assessment. The process separates the target peptide from any impurities — including truncated sequences, deletion sequences, and residual reagents — based on differential chemical interactions with a stationary phase. The result is a chromatogram showing the peptide peak relative to contaminant peaks, allowing precise quantification of purity percentage.
Every CALM Peptides product is tested by HPLC, and the resulting chromatogram is included on the COA. A clean, single-peak chromatogram with ≥99% area under the curve indicates high-purity material suitable for reproducible research.
Mass Spectrometry (MS)
HPLC tells you how pure a sample is. Mass spectrometry tells you what it is. MS measures the mass-to-charge ratio of the peptide molecules in the sample, confirming that the molecular weight matches the expected value for the target compound. This is critical — a sample could be 99% pure but contain the wrong peptide if identity is not independently verified.
We use MS alongside HPLC (a combined method called LC-MS) to provide both purity confirmation and molecular identity verification in a single analytical workflow.
Understanding Your Certificate of Analysis
A Certificate of Analysis (COA) is a document issued by an analytical laboratory that summarizes the test results for a specific product lot. When you request a COA from CALM Peptides, here is what you will find:
If you need a COA for any product, contact us on the Contact page or request it at checkout.
Storage & Shipping
Proper handling doesn't end at the lab. CALM Peptides ships all products in sealed, light-protected packaging. Orders ship same-day when placed before the cutoff, minimizing transit time. For temperature-sensitive shipments, cold-chain packaging is available.
Once received, store lyophilized peptides at -20°C or colder, sealed and protected from moisture and light. Reconstituted peptides should be refrigerated at 2–8°C and used within the timeframe specified on the product documentation.
All products are sold strictly for laboratory and research purposes. Not intended for human consumption. These products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Consult qualified professionals for guidance related to any health condition.
